“Partnership Runs Deep” is a Gold Screen Award winning half hour dramatic documentary co-written by Duncan and produced by Second Wind Films & PopArt Film Factory for the US Navy & NOAA’s UAV-Fest and for the Smithsonian’s Oceans Hall. The project centers on the repurposing of the Navy’s robot submarines to do marine archeology and their exploration of the historic wreck of the HMS Cerberus sunk at the Battle of Rhode Island in 1778. The project was broadcast on NBC. In addition and a special version has been made for the Redwood Library in Newport, RI. (2008) “Canisters” is an Emmy Award winning public service campaign produced by the Rhode Island International Film Festival and WJAR-TV about the power of independent film to inspire, to motivate, and to change lives. (2008) SCRIPTS SOLD or IN PRODUCTION Duncan just started production on another television public service campaign for the 2009 Rhode Island International Film Festival titled “RIIFF Around the World.” Several other projects are in development and pre-production with OCD Associates. OTHER WRITING PROJECTS Duncan has collaborated with award winning children’s author Beth Glass to pen three books awaiting publication: “They Called Him Base Ball,” “Room to Play,” and “Fiona’s Faire Day.” Duncan and co-writer Tim Norton are currently seeking grant monies to begin production of their baseball documentary screenplay “Barehanded Champions.” In a related project, Duncan is co-writing a dramatic feature length screenplay with Kevin Faria also based the story of Baseball Hall-of-Fame pitcher Hoss Radbourn of the 1884 Providence Gays.
